The Producers: Meet Lucas Barta

1) Who are you? Is this your first time working at Vintage Theatre? What roles/shows might patrons have seen you in previously?

I am a Denver performer, but I’ve also been a photographer and educator. This is my first time working at the Vintage! 

2)  What did you want to be growing up? How close did you get or did it completely change?  

When growing up, I always knew that I wanted to work in the arts (film, theatre, music). And even if I do other things to support myself, I’ve gotten the chances to do that and plan to keep going!

3) What is your current dream job?

 My dream job is to be a film director and writer. 

4)  Would you ever want to be a Producer? 

 I would maybe want to be a producer, especially considering the other work I want to do. 

5)  What is your favorite part of the show?  

My favorite part of the show is the dance breaks! There’s so much opportunity for fun choreography, and I’ve always loved this show’s music and orchestration!
