The Producers: Meet Helen Anne Horecky

1) Who are you? Is this your first time working at Vintage Theatre? What roles/shows might patrons have seen you in previously? 

 My name is Helen Anne Horecky! This is my second show at vintage, the first being 9 to 5: The Musical where I was in the ensemble and U/S Doralee.   

2) What did you want to be growing up? How close did you get or did it completely change?

When I was growing up, I wanted to be a dentist just like my dad! However, once I started dance classes, that dream quickly changed to wanting to become a performer!

3) What is your current dream job?

My current dream job is to be a big star on Broadway! However, I’d also love to create my own theatre company and make puppets forever. Either dream will do!

4) Would you ever want to be a Producer?

 I think being a producer could be fun, but I’m not sure if it’s the path for me. Maybe one day!

5) What is your favorite part of the show?

My favorite part of the show is all of the incredible dancing! My favorite number would probably have to be “That Face”! I think it’s beautifully choreographed and has that Old Hollywood feel to it that I absolutely adore!
