The Producers: Meet Dario Carmelo Correa

1) Who are you? Is this your first time working at Vintage Theatre? What roles/shows might patrons have seen you in previously? 

Dario just graduated from the University of Northern Colorado. The Producers will be his 3rd time on Vintage’s Stage – prior to this he’s been seen in the ensemble of In the Heights and more recently as Jack in Dear Jack Dear Louise! 

2) What did you want to be growing up? How close did you get or did it completely change? What is your current dream job?

Growing up Dario wanted to be an astronaut, then a Herpetologist (snake scientist), then a meteorologist, then a NBA player, then a Astronomer, and finally a Broadway actor. Dario hasn’t gotten too close to any of these, but still hopes to one day be on a Broadway stage. 

4) Would you ever want to be a Producer?

Absolutely! 

5) What is your favorite part of the show?

Springtime for… you know who, though honorable mention to when I may or may not get to dribble a basketball across the stage.
